Multiple compatible profiles can be clamped and milled in one operating cycle to improve batch-processing efficiency.
What Is an UPVC Profile End Milling Machine?
An UPVC Profile End Milling Machine is a dedicated window profile processing machine used to mill the ends of mullions, transoms and other compatible profiles before assembly.
The milling cutter removes material from the profile end to form the required step, groove or mating surface. This allows the processed mullion or transom to fit more closely against the corresponding window or door frame profile.
The BCLSD-200A can be fitted with a combination of cutters ranging from Ø110 to Ø200 mm. Different cutter combinations can be selected according to the profile cross-section and required end geometry.
Before ordering, customers should provide the profile cross-section drawing and the required finished end shape so that cutter configuration and profile compatibility can be confirmed.
Main Features and Machine Advantages
Mullion End-Face and Step-Surface Milling
The BCLSD-200A is designed for machining the ends of aluminum, PVC and UPVC mullion profiles. It can form end faces, step surfaces and end grooves according to the selected cutter arrangement.
The processed profile can then be used in the required mullion-to-frame or transom-to-frame connection. Actual processing geometry depends on the profile cross-section and installed cutter combination.
High-Precision Milling Spindle
The milling cutters are installed on a dedicated high-precision spindle. This structure supports stable cutter rotation and consistent profile end processing.
Compared with mounting the cutter directly on a conventional motor shaft, the independent spindle structure helps reduce the influence of motor rotational variation on the cutter and supports more stable machining performance.
The spindle has a diameter of Ø32 mm and supports compatible cutters with outside diameters from Ø110 to Ø200 mm.
Automatic Pneumatic Cutter Feed
The cutter unit uses automatic pneumatic feed with a travel range of 0–320 mm. After the profile is positioned and clamped, the pneumatic system moves the cutter unit through the required milling stroke.
Automatic feed reduces the need for the operator to push the cutter unit manually. It also supports smoother and more repeatable feed movement during batch profile processing.
The guide shaft helps maintain the direction of the cutter unit during forward and return movements.
Guided Pneumatic Profile Clamping
The guided pneumatic clamping system secures the profile before the milling cycle begins. The pressure plate moves along multiple vertical guide columns to provide stable clamping movement across the working area.
Secure clamping helps reduce profile movement and vibration during milling. This supports consistent end-face processing and reduces the manual effort required to operate conventional mechanical clamps.
Clamping pressure should be adjusted according to the material, wall thickness and cross-section of the profile.
Adjustable Worktable for Convenient Tool Setting
The worktable can be adjusted vertically through the manual handwheel. The motor adjustment stroke is 0–80 mm, allowing the relative position between the cutter and profile to be changed according to the processing requirement.
This adjustable design makes cutter setting more convenient when changing between compatible profile specifications and end-face geometries.
The machine has a 500 × 350 mm worktable, providing a practical profile-supporting area for daily window and door production.
Multiple-Profile Milling Capability
The working and clamping structure allows multiple compatible profiles to be positioned and milled in one cycle.
Processing several profiles simultaneously can reduce repeated loading and improve output for batch orders. The actual number of profiles that can be processed together depends on their width, cross-section, clamping stability and cutter arrangement.
Combined Cutter Configuration
The machine supports a cutter stack height of up to 70 mm. Cutters with different diameters can be combined on the Ø32 mm spindle to produce the required step or groove geometry.
This provides greater flexibility for different mullion and transom profile designs. Cutter quantity, diameter, thickness and arrangement must be selected according to the customer’s profile drawing.
Clearly Arranged Control Panel
The control panel provides clearly separated controls for:
Motor Start
Motor Stop
Emergency Stop
Profile Clamp
Cutter Feed
The basic operating sequence is easy to understand. The operator can clamp the workpiece before starting the cutter feed, while the emergency stop remains within convenient reach.
The machine uses pushbutton and selector-switch controls rather than CNC programming, making it suitable for repetitive profile end-milling operations with fixed mechanical settings.
Reliable Pneumatic Control System
The pneumatic system uses an STNC directional solenoid valve to control airflow to the clamping and feeding cylinders.
The valve controls the forward and return movements required for profile clamping, release and cutter feed. Exhaust silencers help reduce pneumatic exhaust noise during valve switching.
The specified operating air pressure is 0.6–0.8 MPa.
Compact Floor-Standing Structure
With overall dimensions of 800 × 750 × 1400 mm and a weight of approximately 180 kg, the BCLSD-200A has a compact floor-standing structure.
It can be installed as an independent end-milling station in aluminum, PVC and UPVC window production workshops without requiring the floor space of a large CNC profile machining center.

How the End-Milling Process Works
1. Submit the Profile Drawing
Provide the aluminum, PVC or UPVC profile cross-section together with the required finished step, groove or mating surface.
BCAMCNC will use this information to evaluate the cutter diameters, thicknesses and combination required for the profile.
2. Install and Adjust the Cutters
Install the selected milling cutters on the Ø32 mm spindle. Adjust the cutter combination and relative processing position according to the required end geometry.
The worktable and motor position can be adjusted to align the profile with the cutter.
3. Position the Profile
Place one or more compatible profiles on the worktable and align the profile ends with the positioning structure.
Confirm that the profiles are supported correctly and that the intended cutting area is clear.
4. Clamp the Profiles
Use the CLAMP control to activate the pneumatic pressure plate. Check that all profiles are held securely before starting the milling motor.
5. Start the Milling Motor
Activate the motor and allow it to reach the specified operating speed before beginning the feed movement.
6. Activate Automatic Feed
Use the FEED control to move the cutter unit through the required machining stroke. The pneumatic system provides automatic forward and return movement.
7. Release and Inspect the Profiles
After the cutter has returned and stopped safely, release the pneumatic clamp and remove the processed profiles.
Check the end geometry, surface condition and fit with the corresponding frame profile before continuing batch production.

We’ve been running the BCAMCNC edge bander in our mid-sized cabinet shop for about 5 months now. It’s not perfect – we had to tweak the glue temperature settings for thicker ABS edges – but once dialed in, it’s been solid. The automatic corner trimming works about 90% of the time (still needs occasional manual touch-ups on tricky curved pieces). What really stands out is the build quality – no loose components after daily 8-hour shifts like we experienced with our previous machine. For the price point, it’s been a reliable workhorse that’s cut our edge banding time by nearly half
